SingularityNET Presents at SWITCH Singapore

Headed by co-founder and CEO Ben Goertzel, the SingularityNET team was proud to present at this year’s SWITCH Singapore conference. We were excited to meet and collaborate with hundreds of people and organizations, all looking to advance the future of technology.
The artificial intelligence market will be worth more than $3 trillion by 2025, so we weren’t surprised to receive plenty of questions regarding the future of AI. While we’re excited to see plenty of innovation across the industry, there’s one major factor that’s still missing: AI cooperation. Without cooperation, AI technologies are stuck in silos, relegated to individual companies and industries.
In the sphere of business, AI is poised have a transformational impact, on the scale of earlier general-purpose technologies. Although it is already in use in thousands of companies around the world, most big opportunities have not yet been tapped. — Harvard Business Review
The biggest opportunities will only be tapped when AIs can work together, leveraging each other’s strengths across different geographies, verticals, and use-cases.
That’s why we created SingularityNET. With our platform, AIs can buy and sell goods and services on their own markets. They can acquire and leverage valuable datasets or analytical capabilities, while monetizing their own proprietary information, algorithms, and functionality.
At SWITCH Singapore, CNBC correspondent Lee Yen Nee interviewed our co-founder and CEO Ben Goertzel regarding his views on AI and robotics, along with the growing roles of decentralization and cryptocurrencies.
