Domino’s Pizza (Malaysia & Singapore) will be leveraging the AGI ecosystem to drive efficiencies in their supply chain and delivery operations

May 1 —

We are pleased to onboard Domino’s Pizza (Malaysia & Singapore) into our SingularityNET partners.

At Domino’s, we combine technology and the talents of our people to provide our customers with the best products and service by driving innovation. This is valuable because it increases efficiency in the markets we serve, and that ultimately creates value for all stakeholders. This has been our mission and we remain fully committed to it. In our efforts to deliver on our mission, we’re guided by strong and meaningful values, including an unwavering commitment to integrity. We reinforce and build on our ability to deliver on our mission with continuous innovation and periodic transformation of our business. In fact, we are currently in the midst of transforming our core products and our data delivery platform to bring more speed and efficiency to our customers. Our newest transformation effort is occurring in our Operations function, where we are automating significant portions of our delivery operations and consolidating our operations centres. SingularityNET’s AI algorithms and services will allow us to explore these efficiencies at scale”. —

Domino’s (Malaysia and Singapore) Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ba U Shan-Ting.

The interest we have received from distinguished organisations since the launch of the platform has been tremendous. We are humbled by the discussions we hold about the SingularityNET project at the highest levels with some of the most innovative customers and partners. Decentralized AI, strong privacy, and cryptoeconomics are rocking the very foundations that many companies had built their businesses on.

Domino’s has been rapidly expanding in Singapore and Malaysia, with over 260 stores and 4,000 staff in the two countries already. With this type of growth, the business is set to encounter a series of unique opportunities from a supply chain and logistics stand-point. SingularityNET is offering the company’s divisions a way to avoid making a compromise between growth and efficiency by incorporating our unique algorithms in our AGI ecosystem into its operations.

Opening an industry to blockchain and AI

The partnership will enable SingularityNET’s decentralized community and award-winning AI researchers to build innovative algorithms and solutions, leveraging the recently launched SingularityNET Beta platform and drawing insight from Domino’s input and data. Countless opportunities lie in the operations of large organisations. While many companies lack the internal resources to research and develop new ways to streamline their business, the largest ones have been recording a staggering amount of operational data. All this can be, for instance, harvested for the creation of a multitude of AIs that would look for unnecessary strains on daily activities of the organisation and suggest better alternatives.

As part of the partnership, SingularityNET will conduct feasibility studies, deliver AI-centric workshops, and offer a number of algorithms to improve Domino’s business operations, thus opening up new frontiers for Domino’s to delight its rapidly growing customer base in Southeast Asia. The work undertaken by SingularityNET in this context is as exciting as it is revolutionary. With the years of experience that our core team holds in terms of researching emerging technologies and initiating their application onto real-world use cases, this collaboration carries the potential for unprecedented levels of innovation in the food delivery industry.

While Domino’s has been, almost by default, a technology company for years now, it is safe to assume that by joining the decentralized marketplace the virtual number of developers working on key technologies for their company will grow exponentially. It is in part around this advantage, that of endless possibilities of collaboration between developers of all backgrounds, which many of our discussions with industry leaders have revolved.

AGI’s utility, Domino’s efficiency

Indeed, one of the most exciting elements stemming from this partnership is Domino’s use of the decentralized marketplace as a way to open part of its business to a large population of developers interested in getting their hands dirty and develop AI for immediate testing/use. Not just one AI, but a harmonious, almost orchestra-like group of independent AIs, each contributing their own note to the larger AI services that will be delivered to Domino’s drivers, operators, and business as a whole.

To enable the collaboration between the company and the wider ecosystem fostered by SingularityNET, Domino’s Malaysia and Singapore divisions will be using SingularityNET’s AGI utility tokens. SingularityNET’s native token was designed to facilitate some core functions of its decentralized marketplace, namely, frictionless and publicly-auditable transactions between AI services, and the incentivisation of development for new AI services.

On the platform, Domino’s will be able to specify their AI needs, as wide and complex as they might need to be. In turn, developers from all over the world will be able to view, assess, discuss and collaborate on the best ways to satisfy the demand. Active developers will be able to collect the promised tokens as they deliver the desired AI services to Domino’s. With this partnership, SingularityNET is head-starting enterprise use of the AGI token and establishing a new form of collaboration between enterprise customers and its global community of developers.

With this new addition to the SingularityNET marketplace, we hope to create a real snowball effect in our ecosystem. With more demand for open AIs flowing in from sophisticated customers, we hope to reach more developers and make our message clearer than ever: you do not have to settle for siloed AI development. The team is striving to accelerate onboarding many more large enterprise customers and feed the marketplace with an insatiable need for AI services.
